July 2025 Highlights: Art, Journeys, and Deep Inspiration
This July was truly unforgettable—a month filled with meaningful moments, creative milestones, and soul-nourishing travels. Here's a glimpse into everything that made it so special:
Journey to Lithuania
My heart returned home as I visited the birthplace of Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis in Varėna—so beautifully preserved and alive with his spirit. His words still echo in my soul:
"Norėčiau sudėti simfoniją iš bangų ošimo, iš šimtametės giros paslaptingos kalbos, iš žvaigždžių mirksėjimo, iš mūsų dainelių..."
From Varėna to the sacred town of Šiluva, and a peaceful stop in Šeduva, this journey reconnected me with my roots, history, and creativity.
From July 1–15, our exhibition Baltijos spinduliuotė: meno įkvėpimas ir draugai (“Baltic Radiation: The Art of Inspiration and Friends”) graced the halls of the Lithuanian Parliament. What an honour to showcase works by Baltic artists living in the UK—and to feel the support of our homeland. Meeting cultural representatives, artists, and guests was a powerful reminder of why we do this.
Work continues on the upcoming art album Baltic Radiation, which will feature every artist from the exhibition. This publication will be a lasting tribute to our shared vision and creativity.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this journey—physically or in spirit. Your support, presence, and encouragement mean the world. July has ended, but the inspiration it brought will keep growing.
Travels in Germany
Germany offered new perspectives and inspiration. From quiet museums to bustling cultural corners, every stop added colour to my inner canvas. It was not just a journey through places—but through feelings, ideas, and beauty.
