 Creative Evening with Artist Daina Kiselienė at the Lithuanian Embassy

On March 7–8, 2025, we invite you to a special creative evening at the Lithuanian Embassy, featuring the talented artist Daina Kiselienė.

During the evening, Daina will present her painting collection “Kelias” (“The Path”), which tells a touching and inspiring story of life between two countries – Lithuania and the United Kingdom. This collection, consisting of fourteen canvases, delicately captures the artist's personal journey, her search for identity, and the discoveries that resonate with many compatriots living far from their homeland.

You will have the opportunity to learn about Daina's creative process, hear her reflections on art and life at the crossroads of two cultures, and engage in personal conversations with the artist.

Daina's brief Introduction:

I am an artist whose work is based on the interaction between Lithuanian and British cultures, as well as personal experiences of living in both countries.

Exhibition Description:

I am inspired by the symbolism of the 17th-century "Little Dutch Masters," which invites viewers to analyze deeper and discover meanings. This inspiration led to the creation of the collection “The Journey.”

This year marks the tenth anniversary of my collection, which has been showcased in both Lithuania and the United Kingdom. The collection, “The Journey,” is a contemplation on the commonalities and differences between Lithuania and the United Kingdom. The works reflect the cultural symbols and historical connections of these two countries. Inspired by personal experiences and the shared values of Europe, the pieces explore the impact of the Brexit era while uniting the identities of both nations.
